2010 SPRING/SUMMER PHOTO CONTEST!

Why is it that the organizer cannot enter? I mean I know that's often the case for serious stuff like giveaways by companies, but I haven't been able to think of a really good reason that the organizer of the photo contest can't also compete. But I could be overlooking something really obvious.
 
I know that it can't be released yet and I don't want to know yet, but whoever shot that corn in the coffee mug did an awesome job imo. That was just a well executed, creative, cool shot. Great job! There were a lot of beautiful photos everybody, congratulations to everyone and we should all be proud!

Finally, GREAT JOB JADIE!! This contest has been very well done and I'm interested to see how it turns out :)
 
Some really great photos in the contest. It was really hard to choose in some of the groups. Great job everyone!

With all of the work she's put in already and how close she is to the end of hosting this I'd have thought she'd be dying to see the answers and finish this puppy off. Any ideas on what's going on? Has anybody talked to her about where she is? :shrugs:
 
HERE I AM! Gosh, sorry all. I had to take off two days of work last week and take care of some things and the contest just completely slipped my mind with everything going on. I feel like a terrible person! :(

That's correct, the rankings for the Digital Manipulation Category will be posted after all the contests have run their course so that everything can stay together :)

Forgive me if someone has already asked this question. But if someone was to win 2 places and you can only win 2 prizes a year, then that person can forfeit one prize and keep one? So that the next person in place wins in the original winners place? Hope that wasn't confusing!
 
I do not know if I will be up to another contest neither of my photos got any votes. Heartbreaking as I worked so hard on those. I would have been happy with just one but to have zero? Ouch! I live in an area where the best of the out doors is grass, whoopee. How can anyone contend with you people in such lovely areas? I thought for sure a tiny kitten the size of an apple :*( I totally lost so I can reveal which were mine right? I so sad :( Congrats to whoever wins though, the other pics are very awesome. Especially the close up of the owl.
