I have 35 corn snake breeders, 6 juvenile snakes, and 20 baby corns, 9 non-corn adults, and 23 clutches waiting to hatch (still waiting, impatiently.... all the snakes laid late this year, just to drive me NUTS!)...
So that is 70 snakes and about 200 eggs in the incubator.
Yes, lots of snakes gets overwhelming... I've downsized a bit...
but if you spend an hour or so every day working on snakes, it gets the job done.
I also have recruited a neighbor kid to help me out so it doesn't take as long as it would if I were doing it alone.
It is a passion... and I don't watch TV, so instead of watching Can You Sing/Dance/whatever the latest craze is, I'm down with my snakes, rocking out to music and having a great time.
