Uhhhhhh....*adds up really quick*...

5 for outline, 5 for dark background shading, and 7 for the color. So 17! :D

I'm hoping we can get it finished next session. We always do it on a day where I don't plan anything so I can sit for a long time. :)
 
That is coming along so well. I love the colour in the mum. I'm so jealous! I really need to find money to get more work on my leg.
 
This is mine, I was told to keep it clean but the guy didnt tell me not to scrub it. Soooo I have to have it touched up one of these days.

Its simple but I like it.

I want to add another wolf around on the left side almost on the back side of my arm with the ears back and eye closed and add a moon up on the shoulder but I haven't found a moon I like and I need to find some one who can draw the wolf with the changes I want.

Lemme say though, I will be GLAD when its done....for more than the fact that it'll look awesome. My arm is like "WTF did I do to deserve this?!" lol
 
I am so conflicted....I want a tattoo, but I know my parents would kill me and I don't even know if it would look good on me, lol.

(I know I posted in this thread before but I changed my mind about what I want, sorta...why do I have to be so indecisive?)

My left upper sleeve is finally finished. I took about 20 hours.

So now starts the thinking process about what to get next.. I am thining about a big chest tattoo..
 
We have yet to get a good picture of my leg. It's hard to get all the color and details to show.

My boyfriends name is Patrick Buckohr. He works at Hammers Tattoo and Body Piercing in Canton Ohio. He is on Facebook and Show your Ink.com . He puts pics of his work on both. He's also an artist and has many sculptures around town and throughout this area. He's working on the design for my next one. It will be a micro tattoo of a poison dart frog behind my ear. It will be smaller then a quarter.

That is true but I love and respect my parents and they think tattoos are trashy...I don't agree and I will still probably get one if I can make up my mind about what I want and where :p It just makes me a bit more hesitant is all....if I can I will get it where it is easily concealed, but what I am thinking of right now is something that would look good as a big tattoo, lol
 
I am looking to get two tattoos. One of a Arabian horse head with flowers at the base of its neck on my right calve. The second one of my Cornsnake with flowers with Sunshine '10 at the bottom, not sure where I want this one.
 
Even large tattoos can be hidden. I have three tattoos, two on legs and one on my foot. My phoenix takes up most of my right leg but if I'm not in shorts and sandles you would never guess I had any. In fact I have worked with a lot of people who felt the same as your parents and they were totally shocked when I told them I had tattoos and NO, I'm not trashy! I'm an Administrative Specialist, very professional...I just wear slacks to work.

Yeah, but we all go to the beach every year with my extended family.....hard to keep everything covered up then >_>
 
Yes it is. I'm 40, didn't get my first tattoo until I was in my 30's, so I'm way beyond the age of making everybody else happy. My parents do not like them but respect my decision to have them. I'm a good person, great mom, and good daughter so as long as I do not decide to go side show crazy with the tattoos they are ok with it. I do have plans to get more, the next will not be on be as easily hidden but will be a tiny one behind my ear.
 
I'm only 19....but I think any tattoos will wait until I am paying for everything myself. Right now my parents are paying a small portion of my rent and my college tuition. They also buy me groceries sometimes. I figure since I really appreciate what they do for me, I will at least wait until they are done supporting me.
