So yesterday I went for my arm tattoo...the artist designed it from pics I had sent him of my favorite snake...the Caramel Stripe and one of our Crested Geckos that passed into gecko heaven...the flower is the Pink Frangipany...a flower from New Caledonia where cresties are from. It was supposed to be done at one sitting but after 6 hours and being there one hour past closing he said he would have to finish it at a second sitting..bummer but he lives an hour away from the shop and he said if he continued we'd be there to at least midnight. Poor Jake and Mike sat there waiting on me. Didn't seem like 6 hours to me but it probably felt like 12 for them. In the next sitting on July 8 he will be doing the details in the snake, the coloring in the snake and gecko and he wants to put more into the leaves and finese it all up..so here is it!

The outline being started..Jake took pics so that explains the look on my face...he kept taking and erasing pics so by the time he took it...well you see the look..you should see the video the faces I was making..he kept going from me to the tattoo and back again and I was like "Ok Jake quit putting that camera on my face..." Every time I went to smile he laughed and I had to hold my laugh because I didn't want him to mess up the tat!

Outline complete...you can see the patterning in the snake in the stencil but not the outline because from the wiping it took it off, but he will be doing that in the next sitting

4riscorn, wow just wow! I love how the snake and crested gecko are.

Thought I would post this. Me and my best friend are getting strangling as friend tattoos and then getting personal tattoos. I have picked out three so far, the strangling, a horse head with roses, and Sunshine. I have picked out a fourth tattoo, I am hopefully getting THREE paw prints for three legged dog, Sasha. I can't wait to get them, I will defiantly post pics.
 
Thanks guys! And you know I will be posting pics! I forgot to add that I am also getting one on my boob but it is a surprise...no one knows! They know I am getting one but not what! Can't wait...I am doing it one day after work hopefully next month sometime. Not even going to tell anyone..just going to go do it. The artist says I crack him up with my addictions lol....Mike said it should be words that say "Where they once were" and my step-daughter said it should say "Once upon a time..."....man what age and nursing 2 kids do to boobs lol....kind of "bites" hint hint
 
Okay so I know I said this was going to be done sometime in July...today is July 1st so that counts! I was working near the shop so I contacted him and he said to come on in. So here it is..the surprise tattoo...the tattoo artist calls it "Vampire Lust"
I love it!!! I also went in this week and had my neck tattoos touched up so I got a double dose of my addiction this week!

I <3 you Gini but I gotta say I like the arm tattoo better than the bite marks :/ but you liking it is all that matters. I only hope I wont bleed and or cry when I get mine.
 
The artist did a great job with that vampire tattoo--it's thoroughly gory, grisly, and realistic! LOL!

I already told you how much I love the other one on FB, but I'll say it here, too--it's beautiful!

Yea, whoda thunk it huh? I was the chick petrified of needles! Now it's like "When can I get poked?" okay that sounds a little perverted!

color added to snake and gecko

I went last night and had color added to the gecko and snake and more color added to the leaves and some finese added. He is ordering more white in so when this gets totally healed, he is going in (probably end of aug) and adding the white to make it pop then putting all the finishing touches in. The snake is a little different in color then what I had expected but he said once it heals up we'll see if when he adds the white if it will be the correct coloring. He said some colors change once they are all healed up. So I am hoping the yellow will come out more in the snake..looking a little orange. But still awesome! This sitting was 4 hours so we have 10 in it so far. He said the final step should only take like 1/2 hour or so.

My first tattoo ever, when I was 18, it's my "symbol" that I drew when I was going through a hardcore Prince phase. (My right side pelvis)

My third tattoo is a target symbol, it has the obvious hilarious meaning as well as a personal meaning for me that I won't delve into at the moment. (it's a tramp stamp aka my lower back)

Jenber I love your Zodiac symbol. I think I might have to get my Libra sign at some point maybe after I get this one I am planning for my B-Day!

So I got my little jungle corn Zafrina (snake in my avatar) last year for my B-day and this year I am planning on getting a tattoo of her. After thinking about getting a tattoo for years now I finally decided to draw this design out. Using black and white pics of Zafrina and cherry blossoms and tracing them onto paper. This is what I came up with. Little bigger than I expected so it will cost a lot but I think it will be worth it, and I'm very happy that I am artsy enough to make my own design. I just hope the tattoo artist can make it look even better!

The head of the snake and most of the flowers will be on the top of my foot, then go around my leg with the tail hooking around the lateral (outside) of my left ankle :D Oh and the flowers will be in color. This is just a draft, let me know what you all think.

I LOVE that drawing, and I think the placement sounds really interesting. I love the black&white idea, you get to see all of the pattern that way!

I GOT MY FIRST TATTOO! Yay!

I got my dogs pawprints, not the exact ones. But the size and shape were made from hers. It is still incomplete I have to add her name. I am not going to lie, the middle paw hurt! I jerked, but it still looks great! I just got it yesterday. My sister has the other pictures.
