I have to ask you stated earlier you get social security for a disability. How is $30.00 is not a big deal. Do you have to pay bills rent, utilities, insurance, car payment... If you are on social security $30.00 would be a huge price to pay for a loaf of bread. Beyond that you don't get it is not that bread will be $30.00 it is all the other things many people have to pay that will go up more then a loaf of bread.

If you are on social security and government goes bankrupt, where is that $30 going to be coming from? There will be no more checks. No more government funding. Nothing.

I work for my money I work part time and my mom she does not work anymore because of her back. So don't think I don't work because I do I do make alot of money from VA and SS. My Dad was in the Army and in the Veitnam so that is why I got VA for.

Are you serious? I voted for Obama and I know things will and are changing, simply Obama is not as bad as Romney (in my opinion, I respect everyone elses opinion). We are doomed, no the world won't end on 12/20, but things are going to change. I will not pay $30.00 for a loaf of bread, why because I have spent that thirty on flour and yeast I will have more then one loaf for my $30.
 
But if the country has no more money to give? You will lose the SS and the VA medical. I don't think you quit grasp the part that you will no longer receive the help you are getting right now.

My husband goes to the VA for his medical. It isn't a for sure thing. It isn't always going to be free, Obama wants to charge you for it, even if you go to the VA.

That right there proves my point. IF the government goes bankrupt, those benefits end. Your life style will change.

REALLY??? How can you not see it? Most people's lifestyles have already changed. I know mine has because of this economy and I just see it getting worse. So I have done drastic changes to my lifestyle and made plans for when worse case scenario happens because it is thinking like this that will make worst case scenario an actual event. I don't care what party you are with, most see this and it becomes a matter of who's plan is better. I can't believe that you would really think that everything is going to be kitten's a rainbows when we are inches from torches and monsters.

I do pay bills rent utilities Car payment no because I do not drive because of the meds Iam on. And my SS I get alot and I have VA so put that all in one alot of money plus me working part time I make out really well.

So most of your money is coming from the Government. So when it is bleed dry and there is no more to give, what then are you going to do? Not trying to be mean, just being realistic.

When the government runs out of money that ENDS. SS is in jeopardy, VA is going to change as it stands now.

You don't get it. If those were my primary sources of income I would be scared to death with the way things are going, not drinking the "everything is fine" kool-aid.

WOW just wow, you work part-time and get all that other money from the government, lucky you. You live with your Mom if I read what you wrote correctly. So you pay part of the bills. I bet you get food stamps too, you have it pretty good, I guess. You are a lucky person.
