I just want to ask you all this what I want to know is whear are you all getting that the world is going to crash?.
 
My husband gets disability from the VA but to be perfectly honest, we dont relay on it as a steady income. Military benefits will be the first thing cut. Their medical for active duty is already being changed, no longer paying for things such as medical care for Autistic Children. You really think the VA benefits wont be on the chopping block?

The American economy is in deep trouble. The news, the reports from the Federal Government, standing on the street, watching spending trends, seeing prices go up... THE LIST GOES ON.....

Where are you getting the information that everything is fine?

As you've said, history does repeat itself.

The great depression and the dustbowl did not end the US. The recovery had started in much of the world, including the US, though we've already had this discussion.

I honestly don't comprehend the doomsaying as a factor of the election. One man in Florida committed suicide because Obama won. Another threatened to attack the president while being questioned by the Secret Service. This is getting out of hand. There isn't a great apocalypse coming for the American people.

You don't need to stockpile guns, the Democrats have shown no interest in changing gun laws. You don't need to stock up on bottled water and canned goods, the government isn't going to collapse. You don't need to accuse others of being dependent and delusional. The social safety net has not collapsed the economies of the countries it has been in place for generations. Why is there this perception that Americans are worse people, are stupider people than anyone else?

No, it will not be the end of America, but change is coming. It's inevitable with the current trends and progress. It will happen and it's going to get worse before we can get better.

People who say there is no change coming are delusional. People who say the economy is fine are delusional.

Hell maybe I'll just move to Canada because as an American tax payer I can clearly see the writing on the wall.

If Romney had been elected I would be asking him the EXACT same questions and holding him to the EXACT same standard as I personally would Obama.

There is a huge problem in America. If you can't see that the big economic elephant in room, then well, I'm glad you live in Canada.
