One keeps giving you money.
One keeps taking money from you.

Suddenly, the one taking money from you is taking more money than the other one is giving and you are out of money!!!!

What do you do first?

Stop taking money from the one giving it to you, or stop giving money to the one taking it from you?

If you are honest with yourself you will realize that SS and VA could go away if things get bad enough.

Subject Two. I have paid in 25% of every single dollar I have earned, since I was 14, 40 years, to support people who can't or WON'T work. Maybe some of those people legitimately need help, but in MY opinion, quite a few are scumbag losers who are faking disability or mental illness or having more children for ME to support, or NOT looking for a job after losing theirs. I RESENT that the same people who are taking, taking, taking never take a moment to say thank you for freaking supporting me, since I am too lazy to do so myself.

Gotta catch up but go Nanci on subject two. I know my granddaughter is disabled. She just turned 18 and will get SSI, she hadn't gotten it before because my kids made too much money (much less then $250,000.00 a year). She did get health care two years after the accident and part of her settlement went to pay hospital bills. She voted for the first time and no I don't think she should have she didn't understand the issues. She also thinks she has lots of money and can eat at McDonald's everyday. She could also work 20 hours a week and would love to work at Petsmart or Petco, she has worked at the shelter.
I just know I couldn't just take and take and not say thanks or do something to help myself.

Let me tell you a story Holly, it's about guns.

A few years back I was a full time trainer for the Department of Justice, now I work with them part time and I do contract corporate and private protective security as a full time job.

It was my job to train officers on explosive devices planted in buildings. A team of three police officers and myself were setting up a building for a training run the next morning. The building was closed to public and should have been unoccupied. While we were setting up the dummy explosives we heard the door open in the loading dock area. Thinking it was just a hobo, or someone like that one of officers, and my close friend Brett, approached the man.

The man turned and shot Brett in the face with a sawed off shot gun. I was a few paces behind him and was covered by blood splatter, Brett's brains, and shrapnel. The officer to the left of me shot the suspect twice in the head and I caught him in the torso.

I left work that night from a job that was supposed to be simply setting up a building for training, covered in the blood and grey matter of a dear friend.

The man that shot Brett was a convicted felon and should have not been able to legally own a fire arm. He had obtained the gun illegally from a local corrupt dealer.

You tell me to my face that gun laws will stop the bad guys and I will call you an idiot. Bad guys will ALWAYS have guns. I am glad there are people like me that will be in between them and the good people.

Sorry but SS and VA take from government so yes, they will be the first to go.
SS isn't even going to be there for the young people who are PAYING into it NOW!! It won't be there when they need it, and they are the ones paying for it. Think that's fair?
You might have to think about relying on family for you needs someday instead of Obama.

There are many people on this forum who have illnesses physical and/or mental, we don't have to meet you to know you or understand you. You are one of the many people we have met in our lifetime and so from experience we know you. As I said my granddaughter is disabled and she thinks she's rich and she thinks she earned her SSI and she will argue until we are all blue. In a way she did earn it with the what she suffered after the accident and what she will never be and all she lost, but that is apples and oranges. Life isn't easy for anyone well maybe Romney and yet I think he has his struggles. We have to understand that as a people we can only go forward when we understand the actioan that got us where we are today.

I don't have any family I only have my mom that's it the pepole that was family can no longer be trusted so they are out of the picture. So all i have left is my mom after she goes Obama will be helping me out and the rest of the world out as well.

You should probably go see your doctor about these delusions, they are not healthy or normal. I am being dead serious. You had some kind of break down in that other thread, I am genuinely concerned there is something wrong.

In 4 years Obama is gone. What will you do then?
As far as him helping out you and the world, sorry but taking other people's money and spending it is not exactly helping out the world.

A nation has never taxed and spent it's way to prosperity.

Um no need to be nasty and no Iam not living in a fantasy you are but Iam not and I am seeing things that are there.
 
I just a call from Obama and he said I'm getting a raise and free health care, He also said he is going to make all the young people pay to have their own kids instead of the government. He also told me people of 60 don't always meet their nutritional needs so I am getting WIC, but instead of juice I get beer.
