But it does NOT justify licking toads Nanci

What did I tell you about that! :grin01:

But that would be poison, right? :grin01: :grin01: :grin01: Please don't answer this. It's just a joke.

Well, the only person I know that had the right kind of toad, Mike, sent it back after he'd licked all the venom off it, and I don't know anyone else that has one, so that's out...

Yikes!
As we say in the Army, "Drink water- Drive on!"
:shrugs: ....... Yeah, I don't get it either.

But get well!

Hysterical!
I know when I'm in need of a good laugh, I can just log in. :D I'm so glad you're at normal sweets, there's a first time for everything eh? <grin>

But there is good news! Abbot Laboratories is developing ANCROID from Maylayan pit viper venom to be administered after stroke. Cognetix is developing anticholinergic peptides form cone snail venom for stroke therapy. See-, venom is good! Nanci

All sorts of new and innovative meds are being developed from reptiles. I'm starting some Diabetic patients on a metabolic medication that mimics Gila monster metabolic hormones. Much more complicated in explanation - but you get the idea. I had one patient that I gave a simplified version of what it does and where it came from. She went home and researched. The next time I saw her was from across the office about a week later. She yells, "TONYA - YOU PUT ME ON LIZARD SPIT??" Knowing me, the staff simply grins and nods.

Happy Valentines Day everyone!!!

Well, "normal" is subjective. ;)

Never could before, so that'd be a miracle.

However, if I could be granted the opportunity to play tenor like Coltrane, Dexter, Bean, or Joshua.....I'd be willing to trade in a small cerebral-vascular accident in about 40 years or so.

Oops. I forgot about that guy on the right in my avatar, as well.

I figure I'd better include him, lest I face the Wrath Of Blickendorfer. ;)

Looks like I may have already had that CVA. :grin01:

Mea culpa, my friend. Passport is a great band.

But I think it's a case of "so many great tenor players, so little time"....I also failed to mention Shorter, Klemmer, Brecker, and a litany of others. :shrugs:

Hah! I hear ya.
To me there's just something about the sound of a sax, I don't care if it's Lucy Ricardo attempting "Glow Worm"!
