I just had a grumpy milk snake do basically the same thing in a large bucket while I cleaned her tub. It was adorably derptastic, biting at nothing.
Heck, I've been actually chased by several black racers over the years. I remember one that I had found under a board or something in southern Maryland that really did not appreciate being disturbed. He kept on lunging at me, so I'm backing up and he just keeps coming at me. Of course, I'm laughing the entire time. This went on a while till the snake started getting tired and slowed down. So I grabbed him and tossed him up into a bush to keep him busy while I made good on my escape.

Every mass shooting (3 or more dead) in the last 50 years has been in gun free zones with the exception of the Gabby Gifford shooting. :shrugs:
That won't stop politicians from grandstanding to take our rights though. Obama did it before the blood was dry. :headbang:

I always hear millennials on campus talking about how gun bans work sooooo well in such and such European country. Of course it works there, most of them didn't have guns to begin with. The US is "too far gone" for that sort of method to work. Outright bans just aren't a viable option.
Anyway, throwing in my vote for renaming the thread to "Official Random Conservative Image Thread." Don't make me start spewing my liberal nonsense up in here to even things out.

No kidding. It looks like soon, in Florida at least, campus carry will be legal for anyone who can concealed carry. Also- the Florida supreme court is going to hear a case about a man who was arrested and charged because his concealed weapon was "printing," accidentally visible. I thought we already had a low that protected us if this happened??? AND a bill is making its way through committee that will allow open carry for people who who have carry permits. I love this state.
Hillary Clinton needs to STFU, talking about how most gun owners are "normal" people who want restrictions placed on buying and carrying guns. How NRA is a bunch of white male whackos. Guess what- I'm female, single, and a gun owner. NRA is protecting MY rights.

One of them had a picture of Hillary with the headline "HILLARY ONLY HAS 6 MONTHS TO LIVE!!!" I have to admit that my immediate thought was not very supportive nor likely comforting of her alleged plight, whatever it is.
Honestly, I would like to see that FL supreme court case touch on the Second Amendment's definition of "right to bear arms". No REAL "right" can be limited nor restricted by a permitting system.

Dragonling, I'm as socially liberal as anyone you'll ever meet. Gays marry? Go for it, hope you are happy for the rest of your life. More than one wife? None of my business. Want to smoke pot? Knock yourself out. For that matter, heroin, crack, meth? Hope you'll be smart enough to not partake, but it isn't something with a solution of "lock them in a cage." Women who "protest" to walk around topless in Asheville? Just be prepared for leering weirdos, but I promise not to be one of them. Life is short and free people should be free to pursue happiness. Crimes should be limited to "don't hurt people and don't take their stuff." Fiscally, I'm to the right of Mussolini, just don't require me to foot the bill. But tools that can kill people? What kind of person in their right mind would only want those in charge to have them? Seems akin to asking to be a slave to me.

For the record and those new that don't know me. I consider myself a libertarian independent mutt that follows the actual constitution (not modern politicians twisted interpretation) and wishes our politico elitists had fiscal common sense.
