Oh MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People this thread has gotton so frggin obnoxious! Lets all agree to disagree
And Mike, after in-depth personal observation and study of my own, I have concluded that you GSC guys really aren't all that bad after all. And I say that with humor and manly affection, no condescension whatsoever.
There are all sorts of social groups. The guys in the GSC one can go there and vent in privacy. Nothing wrong with that.
I just would have liked to see Al Qaeda written in red!.

He did start this thread but then others chose to add thoughts to it that turned it into something I'm sure David never envisioned when he started it
Easy on the manly affection there Eric. Just kidding, Ill share a beer with you and KJ if I ever make it to the BR area.
And I would like to see Obama's name in red more often on this board.
Actually on second thought, you can have a beer, KJ will have a cherry DP, and I will take a Bourbon and Diet Coke.
Speaking of which, I believe this post is a relevant one to bring up at this point in the conversation: http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=104976&d=1242360337
Nanci's linked videos remind me of the old SNL skit where Pror is applying for a job from Chase. THAT, when put into the context of America at the time, is one of the funniest things I've seen.
"Honky!"......"Honky Honky!!"........."DEAD Honky!!" :roflmao:
The freedom of speech is an ideal that the UK has been built on, I was suggesting the fear of stupidity.... To incite racial hatred or to try and kill the prez or to discus the uprising and how to bury weapons for later use could attract attention from those people you don't want pulling strings in the background..... And putting a nice blue winky face behind it, does not hide it in some kind of code......Yep. Let fear kill the freedom of speech. Is that what you are kinda suggesting? I suspect the administration supports that idea. Not being vocal shows how much you DO fear them, and then they win whether they were playing the game or not.
Oh, and what is scary to me is that the people that were being vocal about a revolution have shut up. The people who weren't are now vocal. It seems like the ones that were vocal are sitting back and thinking, "No doubt it is coming now - I'll just wait." the ones that WERE vocal but aren't now are the ones that should scare the federal LEO. Really. Us vocal ones seem to just be on the level of talk-only. The ones that stopped might be the ones planning and preparing. I'm vocal, so I'm not in that group.....lol.....BUT I do wonder what they are doing now that they've seemed to disappear.....
No.... You should read and digest.... You started it, now learn something from it.Oh MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People this thread has gotton so frggin obnoxious! Lets all agree to disagree
Whats wrong with that.....That's only because IF I did drink, I would order something fruity with an umbrella or something in it. And, let's face it, I'm just not confident enough to do that. At only 5'8" (on a good day!), I just need to work on the "tough" look more......lol.
Actually on second thought, you can have a beer, KJ will have a cherry DP, and I will take a Bourbon and Diet Coke.
Will you be doing this at the White House?
(I have a cherry DP the other day. It tasted the same as regular DP).
Danielle, you are something else, girl. You make me laugh out loud every day. People like you, Dale, Wade, and Nanci....all make life worth living.

I would say it depends on what the individual would like to be called, and even when they would like to be called it. There is a man in town who often dresses entirely in woman's clothing some days, and dressed in man's clothing others. He was in the store where my mother works one day, dressed in woman's clothing, and my mother said "have a nice day sir... I mean mam", and feeling very embarrassed that she might have come across as rude. The guy smiled, and said "I like that", and seemed pleased, while other days he would carry himself as a man, and would prefer to be addressed as sir.Excuse me for getting serious for a second, but is "her" the politically correct term such a character? Personally, I'd always have used the biologically-correct term and not the gender-correct term. (I'd never use the dress-correct term since so many women wear men's clothes who are not considered transvestites and are both female in terms of biological and gender.)
Whatever KJUN. Go ahead and throw me under the bus even more, when you can just check my posts and see that is not the case. "Oh I respect your opinion, it's honest. But there's... well, their opinions are just the boy crying wolf. At least be honest with yourself and say you have a personal problem with us, because nothing in this thread was crying wolf, and wasn't any more against the grain than any other post.Micheal and ESPECIALLY Ricky are just the boy that screamed wolf too many times. ANYTHING that is said against Obama is racist. It I said, "I don't like that he is pushing health care" they reply along the lines of, "You just say that because he doesn't LOOK the part." Boy who yelled, "wolf!"
I'm not buying it. The ones that are now quiet, are the ones that realize their demonstrations were built on fear mongering and hate speech, and now they have no choice but to take a back seat.It seems like the ones that were vocal are sitting back and thinking, "No doubt it is coming now - I'll just wait." the ones that WERE vocal but aren't now are the ones that should scare the federal LEO. Really. Us vocal ones seem to just be on the level of talk-only. The ones that stopped might be the ones planning and preparing. That's because "lynch" wouldn't have been a likely term used on Palin, especially seeing the anti Palin folks aren't nearly as filled with hate and violent threats as the anti Obama folks. My argument wasn't over how Susan meant it - my argument was over if the word itself was "bad." If she would have said "we might have the lynch Palen," this argument would have never started in reference to the race aspect.
Enough of the spade comment diversion. I clearly knew no other meaning, and you never brought it up in the original thread, or to the many others that have used it before too.I can respect that you found it offensive. I just don't think we have a right to not be offended (like the spade comment). That's all.
