Hey Rich, I would like to thank you for putting up this site and maintaining it for such a long time that we, the new generation of keepers and breeders, use as a reference. Both this site and IansVivarium has helped me a lot.
Cheers!
I wonder if you have to set an avatar photo in your User CP, which is different than your profile pic??? I'm pretty certain that's the solution.
Good morning, Nancy. I was just wondering why my profile pic won't show up under my name like others in this forum. Thanks!
Lowkey tho, keep up with me at:

Hi all. I have a corn snake (he's about 2, and I adopted him from a family who felt they weren't giving him enough attention). We've had him for one week and he's been wonderful. He seems to love attention, "snuggling," etc. Starting Thursday, he's been hiding and rattling his tale, so we've "left him alone." Saturday evening my son (11, and he knows what he's doing)and I were handling him, and he bit my son. Sunday (the day after he bit) was when he was going to be fed. (Naturally, we fed him Sunday.) Today is Monday, and I noticed "fang" marks on one of his hides. I understand that there may be some stress for him, as he moved from one house to another. The temp and substrate are fine, I think, and we give him all the light and dark a corn snake might need. Any ideas/thoughts on the hide "gnawing?" I am new to this, but we adore him.
Hi! I read your post about Halo corns during my search to ID my corn morph. I suspect I have a few and would like to confirm and get more information on them. Thanks!
Hi Pat, I happened to see a post of yours about snake caves being used as humid hides. What kind are you using? I live in a dryer climate and need to use a moss box for shedding. I've tried a tupperware dish with hole in lid however my little snake is completely uninterested. I thought maybe a cave type hide that held moisture might be better.
Thank you!
