Hi Nanci, I just got a 4-6 month old snow corn 2 days ago. I know it's recommended to mess with her for at least a week but she currently has a stuck shed. Do you think I should try to give her a soak now or wait until I've had her for a little bit? Thanks so much for your input!
I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am a new corn snake owner as you can see... I’ve never owned any snake before. I have had this one for about 2 months now and it is still a juvenile. I am new to this whole “set up the enclosure” thing. I have spagnem moss in there for a little bit of hide and a half log. I’m using coco fiber for substrate. I have read up on it and I’ve heard that you’re not supposed to use pine wood in the cage. I was wondering if I could use a pine cone from North Carolina as a hide for my snake. Is is straight from out side. I’m not sure if it healthy for my snake so I thought I would ask for some advice. Thank you!
Hi, Just brought home a new pet for my snake loving 4yo and I. A 10-15 yo corn snake that has been handled a lot. Our first snake. He’s in a 40 GA Viv and has been active all day. Will wait a week to handle him. He’s had one other owner who bought him for his toddler that is now gone to college. Seems to be a laid back snake. He’s deep red w black markings, about to shed. Going to mist tomorrow,we have a wood stove and I know the air is dry. I would love to know the name of his color and will post a photo when I can figure out how. He ate just before leaving the store (thawed mouse) hasn’t regurgitated. I’d love any pointers from veterans:). Thank you
Hi my name is fidel i really love snakes and i decided to buy one as a pet im looking for a baby anerythristic cornsnake does anyone has one for sale ?
Whoops, don't know if my message erased or just sent halfway through,so here goes again: we're prospective first time snake owners who live offgrid, trying to figure out the least amount of electricity needed to keep a corn snake warm. I'm imagining a 20 gal aquarium setup for a single snake, and wondering if you know what wattage heat mat I should be getting, as they seem to come in quite a range? That way, I can estimate our battery amp hours need and determine whether this is feasible (I hope) or not (which is more likely.) Thanks! Twolunger suggested you might be able to help.
Thanks for the offer, but honestly I've never made up any banners for this site other than the logo I use here and on my FaunaTopSites.com website.

What "footer" are you referring to anyway?
