I just got off the phone with Katie...she's like a hungry pitbull. I have but a few extenuating cirumstances that might keep me away from you lovely whacky fruitcakes...and I'm working on them.

However..in the event of my absence, I fully expect Katie, Robbie, Nanci, Dale, Hallie and all other cs groupies to make sure that you hug Terri no less than q15m. If you can't figure out that code, then you really don't deserve to hug Ter.

So thats the real reason Robbie is going, for all the hugs!! It has nothing to do with all the cool people, snakes and the fact that he lives nearby LOL!
 
Update - I just purchased "buckets" for our raffles as well as wristbands for dinner so we know who is with our group (to make sure no one else at the hotel tries to weasel in on us) and to verify who has "prepaid" and who we need to collect money from at dinner.
 
I wish it was just the money!
It's also that we would have to close the shop on a weekend in the summer...

but someday....someday.....
 
My husband..well.. he's not a snake guy, he would probably hate it...
but even if I could get away for a girl's weekend...leaving him alone to run the shop by himself during the busy season.....that would be difficult too!!!

because of the hours we work, we don't have many friends...we do have one that could help him, but most likelly if he stayed home she would be coming to Daytona with me!

I just found out the dates to this years...if Daytona falls on the end of August next year, I think we might be able to go..maybe...
It's much easier to close the shop at the end of August....
 
Well,we're still working on collecting the money to go. We're even considering just getting a small bank loan. We REALLY need a vacation and we'd both just LOVE to go so we're getting it figured out as quick as we can!
 
Rick is telling me I need to sell ALOT of snakes...well considering how this slug...I mean breeding season is going.....
but we haven't had a vacation since 2003...
