We all GET that you LOVE your hybrids - well that's amazing - FOR YOU - and if you think that people are calling you names - that's ENTIRELY your OWN fault!!!!! It's like you're talking to yourself without actually reading and taking in posts of others... YOU make yourself look bad! There's nothing more to say to this whole DRAMA!!!

You know what you are right and I apologize but some how you don't seem to be getting it. Look at the dates it was dead for months.
 
I am not sorry about my posting or this thread being inactive for months. If I want to show my support for something I will show my support for it. If I am browbeaten in the process of doing so, I think that is uncalled for, but it does show something about internal politics.
 
As for bonkers trying to blame the victim, that is sad, but again... I am being denigrated or belittled as are many others on this thread. If you can't keep it civil that is not my issue, but I won't ignore it either.
 
Bonkers, if you would read my posts.... one of my longer posts actually shows that I have read and even commented on a great many posts on this thread as I have quoted a great many pages of such observations. I assure you, I do read and I even comprehend. Not bad for a soldier aye. Yes, that was sarcasm and intended as such.

You only have received what you perceive to be "bully tactics" because of your troll-like behavior. You've never posted a single thing about any one of your snakes or your collection. There's no way for us to know if you have just one little corn, or hundreds of them. And just ask any member here, even people with huge collections can be ostracized, damned, shunned, and hated. Collection size/stature has absolutely nothing to do with the reaction you've been getting. It all has to do with you, and how you present yourself. Calling people a-holes, for one, is going to get you real far. It's very hard to believe that you're not simply a forum troll when the first thing you do is drop into one of the most recent controversial threads and start trying to push everyone's buttons, all the while never actually introducing yourself, or anything that you're about. Most people start in the "New Member Introductions" area, but you chose to dive right in to dead controversy to revive it for fun and games.
 
Me blaming the victim? There's no victim IMO! You could of just read the thread, stated your opinion in ONE post and actually waited for people to respond instead of posting every two seconds and kicking off at people who were only trying to explain something to you.

There is no right or wrong. Some people do not want hybrids in their collection, some do. This is a never ending story and starting it all over again will do no good. But go for it and add another 50 odd pages to an already very long thread.

I personally might not like the look of a particular "natural" corn morph - do I bash people who do NO. I also might not be fond of certain hybrids but again to each their own. Think that's enough said.

Yes he left ONE strong post, apologized and MOVED ON. And I try reading your posts, but can't keep up with them as you post every two seconds! Besides or only repeating yourself anyway. Hybrids are amazing, over and over and over....
 
Why is it that the victim now has to defend themselves? Lol, no fear, I know how to go back a few pages and quote. Not that I haven't done enough of that already.
 
Really, you can't keep up with posts? I admit I type fast, but I speak even slower. That doesn't sound like a valid excuse, but I will go back and put the denigrating comments in one cogent thread for you to make it easy.
 
I have two points I would like to make. I will not be posting further on this subject since it just seems to be a merry-go-round of shouting.

1). I do not think hybrids are "garbage" snakes and feel it is rude to term them as such. We are all snake lovers here, and they are snakes, and they did not "choose" how they were conceived. Hybrid works just fine thank you.

2). Carpe Serpentis: I cannot comprehend how you could look at the dates on this thread, see the rather open hostility and go "hm, I think I will restart this" and not mean to be trolling. I respect that you like hybrids and have strong opinions on the subject, but really, was resurrecting this thread in particular the best choice? That is the reason why folks think you are trolling - and you are not giving us much reason to believe otherwise.

This thread is full of passionate people; neither in my view are right or wrong. Perhaps it was best to let this thread die.

Bonkers, good night. As for this thread, I didn't exactly go looking at the date on this thread when I posted. I'm kind of new here, but that being besides the point... I think I may have allowed a bit of sarcasm and hostility to flow over from the posts I was reading. A little bit builds up and I apologize for that. Sometimes a bit of introspection is needed and yes, even rereading a post latter to try and see it through a different perspective. My only intention at first was to show support for those that were hybridizing. My apologies if I came of any other way. And yes, there are some very passionate people on this forum. That is probably why I got sucked into this as I am equally passionate about this topic. I should know better than to try and use logic where passion is so intimately involved in both parties.
 
I appreciate the sentiment Rob and I concur with both. The one thing I know for certain is that on computers it is very hard to tell sentiment, tone, etc. and mood prior to and going into something definitely always plays a factor as its more likely to influence how you interpret what your reading than if you were talking to someone over the phone or face to face.
