I would not cull those either because they are corns but when I have a hybrid that looks pure that is a different story.. They are byproducts that will taint good blood lines if they go into the wrong hands. Like have posted over and over there is a right and a wrong way to work with hybrids. That is just the ulgy side of the game. If you don';t have to stomic then you should not be working with hybrid.

Now to cull a non feeders is even more worse because if you want to play the breeding game then you have to take the bad with the good and force feed non feeders till they start to eat mice or give them away to someone that is willing to do so or offer them the food they are hard wired to eat as babies , lizards not pink mice. To kill those is not right at all . You should not breed snakes if you are going to kill off the non feeders. It is not their fualt that they are ment to eat lizards and you want to jump start them on rodents.

The truth hurts. was in reference that people are entitled to their opinions, people can either agree or dis agree.

Having served in the Military myself I can honestly tell you that the majority of my brothers and sisters in arms are used to knowing that we will be disrespected for our ideas. Heck, my family disrespects my outlooks on many of my views. It is what I fought for.
If everyone agreed with everything that Veterans said all the time, we would probably be living in a very Militaristic world. In fact I personally believe that I served for the reason that people would not have to serve, even though I believe that it would teach some of these kids a smidgeon of respect towards those placed above them.
Kids these days do not listen when spoken to, or respect anyone, I personally blame their parents and society for not allowing parents to discipline their children without fear of being arrested.

Sorry for the rant, I tend to cover many random topics in one post...LOL

Why would anyone want to agree with everything a veteran says? You are your own person with your own opinions and ideals.

I never stated everyone had to agree with a veterans ideals.
 
I've put a codicil in my will, leaving my hybrid snakes to be split up among some of the persons on this thread. So that way, when they become inherited, then Bethany will have to approve of them, as then they will be 'Herilooms'. :sidestep:
 
Vinman- I have to say one thing. If(and ONLY if) you do what you do without anesthetics, that's animal cruelty. The animal is healthy and has no defect, culling is performed as a form of euthanasia- when the animal is sick or has some defect which affects its' quality of life.


You castrate based on personal code of morals. Not out of concern for the animal's well being but for the inherent risk you believe that exists in him bringing offspring.​

I served in the Israeli army(mandatory) in a combat unit(not mandatory) and well… my voice counts exactly as much as anyone else's does…​
The fact that a person may not be able to physically join the army… or is incapable of functioning in a combat situation, doesn't mean his opinion is less valid.​
 
I agree with you kokopelli and I didn't know that is where you are suppose to put a description of yourself, I thought you could just put anything you wanted up there.

No, to paraphrase, you said how odd it was that "we" were trying to silence a veteran who fought to preserve our freedom of speech.

Only- it's Carpe's son who is in the military.

And no one is saying Carpe can't offer his opinion. Some just think he offers it too much, too often.

But there's no rule against that.
 
I don't see how one person's SECRETLY castrated snakes can stem the flood of alien genes entering the cornsnake gene pool either by people breeding hybrids/intergrades unknowingly, or just not giving a flip. I agree- animal cruelty and who even thinks up such a thing???

Same thing goes for people who castrate snakes or MICROWAVE them to induce sterility so the new gene combos can't reproduce. That is blatantly dishonest and I hope anyone who does that AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE fries in HELL.
