stupid breeders why cant you just leave things be

Well, I don't disliek her postings in general, so that would be a pity. And for the point I am making it does not matter that I can ignore her, or that she can ignore Care Serpentis. She does the same as what she dislikes when Carpe Serpentis does it.

She and Carpe Serpentis seem to have reached an agreement and understanding. That one side can like and sing about how much they like, and the other can dislike and sing about how much they dislike.

They are no longer attacking an individual, but the practice.

Fair is fair. No one has to censor their core values or likes.

It's not a dig on an individual or their beliefs.

Ok, but she had the statement in her avatar all the time she argued with Carpe. I do think it is great though that she tolerates Carpe posting his opinion as much as he likes now. I have not 'complaint' about her avatar before because I acknowledge she can do as she likes too. I have not said it should be censored, it seems like you do not get my point. I'm just think it is a good idea in general to act towards other people as you want other people to act towards you. That supports your case you know.

I think Planet terror and Machete were co-sold and I mixed them up... but Planet Terror is gore too, right?

Planet Terror and Death Proof were released as a theatrical double feature. They were sold as a set. There is some carry over from one to the other of characters and plot, but each stands alone. PT was directed by Robert Rodriguez and DP by Quentin Tarantino. Robert Rodriguez also directed Machete, and another really good one, Once Upon a Time in Mexico.

Planet Terror:

After an experimental bio-weapon is released, turning thousands into zombie-like creatures, it's up to a rag-tag group of survivors to stop the infected and those behind its release.

It is quite gory.

Death Proof:

Two separate sets of voluptuous women are stalked at different times by a scarred stuntman who uses his "death proof" cars to execute his murderous plans.

The cool thing about Death Proof is Zoe Bell plays herself, and her stunts are all "real," as well as many of the other stunts by the stars. The "making of" video is really good.

Machete:

After being set-up and betrayed by the man who hired him to assassinate a Texas Senator, an ex-Federale launches a brutal rampage of revenge against his former boss.

I guess my question, and I don't mean this to sound nasty at all, is "what do you want her to do about it?" It's been her user title for months and months. I'm also really really certain she knows exactly how it sounds and that it might upset some people.

Part of the problem comes in with differences between European and American versions of cohabbing. Some of the European breeders that keep giant elaborate natural vivs and cohab, there is not a big issue with that.

In America you have people that read "cohabbing is okay" and jam 3 adult corns in a 20 gallon tank. In my opinion that is utter cruelty.

It's a perspective thing and also in the approach. Most of the nasty back and forth of this thread could have been solved if people thought more about their approach. No one was a saint, and we all realized that and changed our approach.

In other words Americans are dumb lol.

Ah ok maybe those were the two movies in one file we downloaded.... erm... bought :p

I have seen Once Upon a Time in Mexico too, if I remember right I thought it was boring...

Bloody Baroness, I do not at all want to have her change it, please read my posts, I am not gonna type out again my reason to point this out to Beth. i don\t think you are trying to be nasty though :) I usually think the best of peoples intentions, or I am naive, lol!

And of course she knows she might provoke/annoy/hurt people, I know she is smart enough to get that, but I am trying to be civil and not accuse her of doing it purposely. The nice atmosphere in the latest posts effected me :p

There will always be someone to chase from one thread to the next. DD stopped posting, so then Nick got hounded for awhile, until he stopped posting much, when Carpe came along. I wonder who will be next. The only behavior I have any control over is my own. The adage "I'm too old to change" is a lie.

I think Carpe Serpentis, aka Seize the snake -wink-, will keep posting and become a welcome presence on the site. Anyone who is that passionate about what he believes in and is willing to fight for it, in the face of overwhelming internet chest puffing :p, is a-okay.

The others "possibly" deserved to be drummed out. Ethics and morals are a huge factor. Depends on the individual.

I'm going to start letting my cat read everyone's posts. Onyx is a fabulous judge of character. If he likes you, I like you.

I just could not let this opportunity pass to tell you how passive aggressive I think the text below your avatar is. You are repeating your opinion on this matter every time you post and you are shoving it up everyone's throath that way. I know we have agreed to disagree on this but some proverb with pot and kettle comes to my mind. Of course you are gonna say that you never said you are not passive aggressive but perhaps you did not realize how it comes across for some people.

(sorry to disturb the lovely chatter going on atm but this had been bothering me regularly)

I come here this morning expecting more lovely chatter, and I wake up to THIS??? SERIOUSLY??? I was getting a trifle annoyed with CS's constant "oh I like hybrids, did you know I like hybrids, hybrids hybrids hybrids" after every other post, so I posted this....ONCE!!!!!!! (And something similar one other time) I had pretty much thought the ugliness was over, silly me!!

I don't think it is very respectful to state in your avatar that co-habbing is cruelty, hence people who do some commit cruelty. Of course she has every right to state this again and again with every post whether I feel bothered because of it or not, but if she feels annoyed about/feels denigrated by someone else repeating his opinion in a civil manner in a thread which you can easily just ignore, I do wonder why she inflicts the same on other people constantly and anytime in any thread she posts in. Since she does that in public, I see no reason why I should not address that in public too.

I have that in my avatar because in most cases it IS cruelty. I have that in my avatar so that newbies know that throwing 8 snakes in a 20 gallon tank is not in the best interest of the animals.
Are you yourself still a proponent of co habbing, even after losing a snake because of it?? If so, you are truly dedicated to your cause but that little one you lost would have benefitted by being kept alone. Of that I have no doubt.
I lost one, learned from it, never forgot it, and let people know that it is not a good practice.
Please toss me on the old ignore list, I can't think of anything that would make me happier!

That was not because of co-habbing, that was because of putting her with a kingsnake in the viv above hers accidentally.... that was way low to use that but I forgive you for letting emotions getting hold of you. I still think calling it cruelty is exaggerating and rude, and I have not said that you do it on purpose to annoy people but you do surely understand some people might not like it. Further I am not a proponent of co-habbing (in spacey, rich vivs) as being better than not co-habbing, but as being better than keeping them in drawer like tubs with nothing more than a hide and a water bowl.

I posted my comment about your avatar once too.

Since I am not on the forum to make you happy, I won't ignore you.

Yes, it was because of co habbing and I will tell you why. When you keep only one animal per cage, you can leave the cage door open because there is not another snake in that cage that may escape. If that baby of yours did not have a roomate, you would have put her in the correct cage!

So yes, your snake died as a result of co habbing because you never would have fed her to your kingsnake otherwise.

Okay, I'll bite. You really think keeping corns in 18 X 34" racks alone is worse than cohabbing them?
